Welcome to Catholic Charities On Line Community

Providing Hope - Building Opportunity

Catholic Charities of Central Florida is a human services organization guided by our faith and committed to the community we serve.  The Catholic Church proclaims that human life is sacred and the diginity of the human person is the foundation of a moral vision for society.  Our mission is rooted in the principles of Catholic Social Teaching: To provide vital social services for people in need regardless of their religious, social or economic background, to improve lives of individuals, families and the community.

Catholic Charities of Central Florida believes, as an agency, we hold a public trust for the children, youth and families we serve.  In an effort to create standards measured through objective review, we have partnered with Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children, Inc. (COA), to achieve and maintain the highest standards of professional practice.

Through the personal commitment and ministry of our employees, volunteers and donors, the work done in nine Central Florida counties provides hope and opportunity to individuals and families who come to us for help. Our membership with Catholic Charities USA, recognized as one of the nation's largest social service networks, provides leadership and development resources. In addition, this association enhances the collective mission of Catholic Charities, providing services to people in need, to advocate for justice in social structures and to call the entire church and others of good will to do the same.

We are all blessed with our own gifts and we are called to share them.  Please take a few minutes to learn more about us.  As you visit our site, you will see the many programs and services of Catholic Charities of Central Florida.  We invited you to volunteer, participate through events and/or donate so that you can make a meaningful difference in our community and in people's lives.
