Become a VolunteerHOW CAN I HELP? Volunteers may assist our agency as Clerical Support within our Counseling Program, Family Assistance Program, Immigration and Refugee Services, and Pathways to Care Program. Their duties may include filing, fill-in receptionist, making copies, data entry, assisting clients with intake forms, putting together posters, and assisting with mail-outs. Our Food Bank and Food Pantries are primarily staffed by volunteers. Pantry and Food Bank volunteers help by sorting, stocking and preparing food packs and toiletry packs to be given to the less- fortunate that are served through our pantries. Refugee Services serves new immigrants with resettling into America. Our Mentors and Tutors help the youth and adults to get oriented to the new culture and learn the English language. Volunteers at Pathways to Care assist in a variety of areas; Front Desk Receptionist assists with answering the phone and monitors visitors and residents coming to the facility, Kitchen Assistant volunteers assist with preparing and serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, Landscaping and Painting, Residents Activities and evening socials. For more information visit the PTC website at www.PathwaysToCareInc.org Catholic Charities provides free medical clinics for the poor and underserved in the Northern Region and Central Region of the Diocese of Orlando, volunteers assist with front desk reception, intake interviewer, and basic office work and record keeping. Our Senior Center volunteers assist with serving meals, social activities and thrift store. Our Women and Children program utilizes volunteers to assist with collection of household items, clothing and general office duties.
