The Shepherd’s House program provides support and resources to at risk and economically disadvantaged single and homeless mothers.
The purpose of the program is to provide an opportunity for single mothers to acquire parenting, financial management and interpersonal skills that will assist in becoming self sufficient. These life training skills and education courses are guided by case managers and community volunteers at Shepherd’s Common, a free standing training facility.
Shepherd’s House consists of seven duplex apartments in Orlando and can accommodate up to 14 mothers with children age ten or younger. Candidates for this program must be pre-qualified.
Help Shepherd's House support single mothers and their children by donating household supplies like bed sheets and cleaning products.
In addition to these supplies, we accept gift cards to stores like Walmart where we can purchase these and other necessary items for our residents.
