A Self-Sustaining Future

Catholic Charities of Central Florida’s Women, Children and Family initiative was created to address the special needs of single women, single men, single mothers, and their children, single fathers and their children, and families.

Catholic Charities of Central Florida’s compendium of services in the nine counties that we serve allow us the opportunity to tailor a program specifically addressing the needs of the individual or family unit. The goal of each program is to enable recovery from their immediate crisis situation and provide the tools to build a self-sustaining future.

Programs may include any combination of services, such as counseling, transitional services, self-sufficiency training, homeless services, pregnancy or adoption services, healthcare services, immigration or refugee servicesEmergency services such as food from the food pantry, financial assistance or recovery assistance following a natural disaster are available should the individual case warrant these additional services.

Catholic Charities of Central Florida honors a non-discrimination policy; No person shall, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, or disability be excluded from participation in, be denied benefits of, or be subjected to unlawful discrimination under any program or activity receiving or benefiting from federal financial assistance and administered by the organization.
