The Need

CCCF assists our community by serving those in need. We respond to a variety of challenges within the community, focusing on families, while respecting their dignity and empowering their capacity for self-help.

DID YOU KNOW?

  • There are over 900 children in the foster care system in Brevard County.
  • Children enter foster care for many reasons: having parents with physical disabilities or struggling financially; parents with substance abuse or being the recipient of abuse and neglect.
  • The minute a child is placed in foster care, their life changes.  They are with people they don’t know, in unfamiliar surroundings and are unsure what their day-to-day life or future will hold.

  • The Brevard Interfaith Coalition is a partnership of faith communities launched by Brevard Family Partnership and Catholic Charities of Central Florida, united by a desire to strenthen families in Brevard County.
