Board of Directors

Pam Gilardi (President)
Prior to becoming President of CCCF’s Corporate Board of Directors, Pam served as Vice President and Treasurer. She and her husband are co-founders of The Father's Table Foundation having owned several food businesses over the years.  Pam has also been actively involved with Catholic Relief Services, serving on their Advisory Board and traveling overseas with them.

Douglas Metcalf (Vice President)
A longtime Winter Park resident, Doug Metcalf is president of Communications Consultants, a telecommunications consulting firm providing cost analysis and management services to Fortune 500 corporations and business associations including Wells Fargo, SunTrust, Wachovia, American Express, Honeywell and Sears.  In 2005 Doug retired from the Air Force Reserve as a Major General, the highest reserve rank achievable.  He also was elected three times as a City Commissioner in Winter Park, Florida, retiring in March, 2008 after eight years in office.

An active volunteer, Doug has chaired several community organizations including the Winter Park’s Lakes and Waterways Board and the Florida Hospital Children’s Circle of Care; served as president of the Rollins College Booster Club; currently serves on the Board of Catholic Charities of Central Florida, and has been involved with several other organizations including the Orlando Museum of Art, the March of Dimes, the Florida Symphony, and Give Kids the World.

Doug received his BBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.

He and his wife, Linda, have been married for 35 years and attend St. Margaret Mary church in Winter Park.

James Kuncis (Secretary)
Mr. Kuncis is a Vice President with the North Highland Company. He has 17 years of experience in Business Process improvement, corporate governance, large–scale system implementation, and project management.

Alison Bogart (Treasurer)
Alison is a fraud prevention and internal audit consultant. Her professional and educational background is in Accounting and Information Technology (IT). She has more than seven years experience in risk management and project management. She has achieved three prestigious certifications: Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Internal Auditor, and Certified Information Systems Auditor. Three of Alison’s specialties include Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) implementations, process improvement methodologies, and internal control analysis. She relocated from Kansas City to central Florida in 2006 and joined St. John the Evangelist parish in Brevard County. Alison is the Chair of United Way’s Emerging Leaders initiative, Treasurer of Connected by 25, and serves on Florida Today’s Citizens Advisory panel. She is the regional representative for Cocoa on the Catholic Charities Corporate Board.

Albert Dotson
Al is a retired Mechanical Engineer.   He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University.  Al is a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Lakeland.  He is a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2505 in Lakeland, Florida and a Past Grand Knight.  He is a member of Father Mendoza General Assembly of the Knights of Columbus and a Past Faithful Navigator.  Al is a member of the Western Regional Advisory Board of Catholic Charities and the regional representative for the Western Region on the Catholic Charities Corporate Board.  Al has recently completed eight years on the Diocesan School Board, where he serves as vice-chairperson for three years. He was also a committee member on the Diocesan Synod Commission for Education.  Al has also served on the Advisory Boards of Resurrection Catholic Elementary School and Santa Fe Catholic High School.  Al and his wife Nancy have been married for forty five years and have three sons, Albert, Jr., Anthony Michael and Mark.

Alfred Harms, Jr., Vice Admiral/USN (ret)
Al Harms currently serves as Vice President for Strategic Planning and Initiatives and Special Assistant to the President at the University of Central Florida.  In addition to his responsibilities on the university’s senior leadership team, he serves on various academic, scientific, corporate and philanthropic boards across the nation.  Prior to joining UCF in mid-2005, he completed a distinguished career in the U.S. Navy with multiple staff and operational sea tours, including command of the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Following promotion to Flag (General Officer) rank, Vice Admiral Harms had five follow-on assignments and concluded his active service as the Navy’s Chief Learning Officer.  A proud graduate of the University of Illinois and Texas A&M University, he also completed the U.S. Navy’s Test Pilot School, the Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion Training Program and the NATO Defense College

Very Reverend Christopher Hoffmann
Fr. Chris was ordained a Priest on Dec.5, 1987 and has served the Lord at many different churches and schools. After completing his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Fr. Chris graduated from St. Mary's Seminary, Baltimore in 1987 with a Masters of Divinity. Fr. Chris is a reserve chaplain in the Air Force with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He is the co-chair of an ecumenical, peace and justice organization in Polk County.

Steve Hoesterey
Steve is an Executive Director of Brothers Keepers, the social service agency of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Ocala. He graduated from University of Notre Dame with an Undergraduate Degree in Sociology/Anthropology, University of Detroit-Mercy with a Masters Degree in Humanities, and DePaul University with a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Steve is a member of Blessed Trinity parish staff, active in parish ministries including Uganda sister church and school project, Chris Renews His Parish retreat program, and Blessed Trinity School Board. Board Member of Habitat for Humanity of Marion County. Active participant in Diocese of Orlando Synod process. He is the regional representative for Ocala on the Catholic Charities Corporate Board.

Ronald Nowviskie
Ron is Vice President & Senior Property Manager for Root Real Estate Corp., in Ormond Beach. He has been a resident of Ormond Beach and a member of Prince of Peace Parish since 1970. He graduated from Morris Harvey College (Charleston,WV) in 1967 with a BS in Accounting. He is the regional representative for Daytona/Cocoa on the Catholic Charities Corporate Board, and is also active with the United Way of Volusia & Flagler Counties and Boys & Girls Clubs of Volusia/Flagler Counties.

Joseph Sciortino
Joseph Sciortino is retired from Sysco South Florida Corporation. He was educated at L.S.U. where he received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business. Joe and his wife Marilyn are active in church and community affairs. Joe is currently a Board Member of St. John Vianney Seminary, Epiphany Manor, and was a Founding Director of Covenant House, Florida and Daily Bread Food Bank in Miami. He is a member at large with the Catholic Charities Board.
