Program Requirements
Catholic Charities of Central Florida is a licensed child-placing agency. We have requirements for families wishing to adopt that include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Minimum length of marriage of 2 years
- Resident of one of the following counties: Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Brevard, Volusia, Polk, Marion, Sumter, Lake
- Membership and participation in a Christian church
- Financial Stability
- Minimum 6-week leave of absence for at least one parent after placement of a child in your home
- Number of previous marriages will be reviewed
- Minimum age 25 years old, maximum age 45 years old
- Good Health
